Born January 14, 1951, in Jackson, Mississippi, Bishop Ezreaonne Jackson is the daughter of the late Warren L. Jackson and Yvonne Edwards. Her faith roots span Baptist (paternal) and African Methodist Episcopal (maternal) traditions. Her maternal grandfather, the late Right Reverend Dr. Watson Edwards, founded Edwards Chapel AME in Coldwater, Mississippi. At 19, after a personal encounter with Jesus through Bishop Curtis A. Timmons’s outreach ministry, she accepted Christ.

Bishop Jackson has ministered in 26 U.S. states, led workshops in the Caribbean Seas aboard cruise ships, and preached internationally, including two 21-day missionary tours in Jamaica (Kingston, St. Catherine, Ocho Rios). In 2002, she was affirmed as an Apostle during a two-day elevation ceremony under the late Dr. Garner Trafton. She completed studies at the University of Episcopal Studies under Archbishop Dennis Golphin and was later consecrated Bishop by Archbishops Anthony Slater and William S. Spain.
